Consultant.
So you want to make a professional video but are unsure what you need to accomplish the task. This would normally be the job of your Producer. Ensuring that all the monies and technical staff where in place and most importantly that all your "actors" where ready and know when and where they need to be. This can be a daunting task. Most video projects fail because one or more of the above were not in place and as you can guess the #1 reason why a project is never completed is the money aspect of producing a professional video.
To produce high quality video requires the right equipment and from this I do not mean "the right camera". Although the camera is an important part of the puzzle it is not the entire puzzle. A camera can not see if there is not enough light, lights will not work if there is no power (location issues) or the wrong type of light is being used. Then you have sound ... I think you get the drift.
One of our consultants can sit down with you and explain the entire process and what you need and when, or explain one aspect of the project. Typically our consultant would work one on one with the producer or director but this can be expanded to also include "tips for acting", tips for the camera and/ or sound operator.
Costs for a consultant vary depending on the expertise you need but typically for consulting on an entire project with the director or producer is $80/hour with $25/hour traveling costs. Automatically included in this cost (with consulting of 4 hours or more) is full telephone backup at no additional cost. You will also receive within 3 business days a full report outlining your project and what was discussed.
Director.
Directing can be the most difficult of tasks especially if the director personally knows the actors involved. This can lead very quickly to conflict. In all types of video / screen or stage it has to be fully appreciated the the Director is the boss and there are no ifs ands or buts. The director also needs a good understanding of lighting, camera angles and sound. They do not have to understand the how's but only what the result will be. If you are new to directing for video we would recommend that you let one of our consultants work closely with you during the shoot or hand the entire task of directing over to us and we will supply a fully qualified director to take command.
Costs for a full time Director are $100/hour on set, $40/hour off set studying script etc and if rehearsals are required $65/hour. Automatically included in this cost (with consulting of 4 hours or more) is full telephone backup at no additional cost.
Full Service
So you have a script, a screenplay and a dream but nothing else. Our Full Service package offers you the ability to produce your dream with a final product that will be TV ready. Twin Peaks Video will provided all the necessary equipment and technical crew. We can also provide acting talent if required.
Costs for the Full Service will obviously vary depending on the complexity of the project. A typical "small" shoot where you are acting as the producer and director will require consultant, camera + operator, lighting, sound with grip, gofer and all the required equipment, post production editing and media creation will start at about $2000/day. (buy 4 days and get the 5th for free)

Editing.
Professional editing is as important as professional camera, lights and sound. Twin Peaks Video will edit your final result and produce media of your choosing. At this time is is impossible to post costs as this task will vary in size depending on the amount of "effects" that will be required. You should also note that keeping an accurate and precise log of the clips you want and where is important, as time can be wasted quickly hunting through tapes or files for a particular shot. The process called rendering can also be time consuming but on a large project this can be done on a separate machine (or at night). Because of the complexities of Editing please call to discuss your needs.
Effects : titles, scene transitions, sound enhancing, video enhancing, color changing ....
Rendering : rendering is the process during video editing where all the effects being used are merged onto the master track. The master track is then used to produce the final output.
Post Production.
Please call to discuss your needs.
