Twin Peaks Video is  now offering a service that will allow you to get those Video Home System (or Digital Video) tapes transferred onto a Digital Video Disk.

Normally you would want to do the transfer as a straight conversion as this is the less time consuming (therefore less costly) but it is also possible to enhance the quality of the original tape. This can be very beneficial for tapes that where created during the 80's as the quality of recording was greatly enhanced for camcorders from about 91 onwards. It is also possible to edit the original tape so that you have a DVD with just those clips that you are looking for. Editing can also be time consuming but the final result  can be a personal DVD that your proud to show to anyone.

VHS tapes have a limited life, especially if they sit there and are not used.
